Fork Mounted Adjustable Snow Plough (ISP-1)

Although potentially a seasonal attachment, the fork mounted Snow Plough is invaluable when the clearing of freshly fallen or compacted snow is required to ease vehicle or pedestrian access i.e. car parks, access roads and service yards. Often used by our customers as yard scrapers out of the wintry months.

Fork Mounted Adjustable Snow Plough for Effective Snow Clearance

    STANDARD FEATURES

  • Fixed left hand sweep angle, 15 degrees
  • Detachable bolted steel wear strip
  • Stand skids to ensure level scraping
  • Zinc plated twist screws for safe attachment to truck
  • Maximum fork section 150 x 50 mm at 683 mm centres
  • Finished fully galvanized

OPERATION

  • Position the forks to the correct distance apart to locate into fork pockets.
  • Drive forks fully into fork pockets.
  • Tighten thumb screws ensuring that they are adequately tightened.
  • The attachment is now ready for use.

Adjustable Blade Snow Plough

    STANDARD FEATURES

  • 5 Adjustable ploughing angles 15 and 30 degrees to the left and the right and then straight on
  • Detachable bolted steel wear strip
  • Rear mounted castors to ensure level scraping
  • Zinc plated twist screws for safe attachment to truck
  • Maximum fork section 150 x 60 mm at 623 mm centres
  • Finished fully galvanized

Operation

1. Position the forks to the correct distance apart to locate into fork pockets.
2. Drive forks fully into fork pockets.
3. Tighten thumb screws ensuring that they are adequately tightened.
4. Raise Plough clear of the ground and remove adjustment pin
5. Align the predetermined holes to the desired angle for ploughing
6. Refit the adjustment pin to lock the position.
7. Lower the plough to the ground with the blade and castors in contact with the ploughing surface at the same time.
8. The attachment is now ready for use

Maintenance

1. The Fork Mounted Snow Plough should be inspected weekly for general condition with particular attention paid to:
A, All weld points
B, Wear and distortion of
, Fork pockets
, Thumb screws
, Pivot pin
, Adjustment pin
C, Any damaged/worn components
2. Damage or failure must be reported and rectified immediately prior to re-use of the attachment.
3. General surface rusting especially in the critical areas should be treated with proprietary inhibitors, primers and paint on a regular basis.
4. Regular inspection of the wear blade should be made and its position adjusted so as to ensure that the main Snow Blade is clear of wear.
5. After each use clean the plough down with water to remove any salt residue.

Health and Safety

1. The manager of the department or section where the attachment is to be used must be responsible for ensuring the operators are fully conversant with the attachment, its operation, maintenance and that the thumb screws are fully tightened.
2. Do not drive into the fork pockets without retracting the thumb screws.
3. Do not shock load the attachment under any circumstances.
4. Ensure that the area to be cleared is free of speed humps and/or raised kerbs etc so as to prevent damage to the Snow Plough Blade.
5. Always Plough inline with the gradient of the road surface.
6. Drive the Snow Plough ensuring that the Skids/Castors are in contact with the road surface at all times.

Delivery in 3-5 Working Days

Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout.

Standard delivery is free on all orders to Mainland UK above £100 excluding VAT. Some exclusions apply

1-2 Day delivery is available on stock items only and, where available, charges for 1-2 Day delivery are calculated at checkout. Orders for 1-2 delivery need to be placed by 1:00pm unless otherwise stated.

Delivery dates are estimates only and the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any delay in delivery. In particular we shall not be liable for any matter which results from any act of God, war or riot, extreme weather, strikes or any other events which are beyond our control.

The company reserves the right to deliver Goods by installments, each installment being treated as a separate contract.

Goods will be delivered at the point most convenient to our carrier, usually the goods inwards department or reception on the ground floor. Further transfer or installation within the purchasers premises, particularly for large or heavy items, must be arranged prior to delivery and will be charged extra.

Goods are delivered by courier and a signature is required, if the courier is unable to make delivery a card will be left and the goods returned to the depot. Redelivery will usually be attempted on the next working day or arrangements can be made to collect the goods from the delivery depot. It is your responsibility to advise of any special delivery requirements at the time of order.

From time to time our shipping providers make an additional charge for delivery to some areas, for example Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, in these cases we reserve the right to pass that additional cost on to our customer.  We will make contact with you to obtain further payment to cover additional shipping costs, if you do not wish to make the additional payment a full refund will be offered and your order will be cancelled.

RETURN OF GOODS

In the unlikely event of you not being satisfied with any product, please contact us without delay.

Faulty Goods or Incorrect Item Received

Should the goods you receive be faulty or if we have delivered the wrong product you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt (or the next working day), we guarantee to accept return of such goods without charge.

Once we have received the goods at our premises a replacement will be dispatched to you.

Unwanted Goods

If you decide that you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us, in writing, within 7 working days of receipt.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

The goods must be returned in a completely resalable condition, in the original packaging, complete with all parts and accessories as supplied.  For furniture items that are suppied in flat pack form, we may not be able to accept return if the item has been assembled.

It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods.  Goods will be inspected before a refund is made.  If the goods suffer damage or neglect whilst in your care a claim may be made.

You must decide before ordering if the goods are suitable for your needs.

We cannot accept return of goods that have been made to your particular specifications or manufactured to order as per below delivery status icons. If you are unsure please call 01302 300200. 

For business customers returns may be subject to a handling/restocking charge not exceeding 25% of the net price of the goods.
